I Picked it Up Today!!! Black 00 SE 5sp
Well after months of searching I finally took the plung, so I guess you guys will have to put up with me on a regular basis now. I love it by the way, had the biggest smile across my face all the way home and went out to drive it for no reason twice already. Now I just need to clean it up to my standards since I bought it from a private individual it was not detailed. BTW the stock Bose sub isn't working, anyone know what is up I checked the connections to see if it was unhooked and everything checked out, is there a fuse for this or what. Thanks again for everything thus far, great site!!!!
Test the sub to see if it's working by applying a current on it's speaker terminals. Take a battery (any battery will do like the 12v battery from an electric drill) and connect the + to + on the speaker, and - to - on the speaker and just "pop" it for one second. You should hear the speaker make a "pop" sound. If it doesn't then the speaker is blown. If it does then the amp has blown it's sub channel. Then you have a great opportunity to upgrade the sub.
If that's the case the use a PAC Bose adaptor to get RCA's out the the deck, don't use a high-low converter because you loose a lot of S/N. Then just thow in you amp and sub. You should get away with the whole setup for under $350 if you can do the labor yourself.
Email for the PAC adaptor if you need one.
