on some of the 4th Gen 97-99 maximas with the clear headlights, how some of them have absolutely crystal clear lenses and some are just clear? Mine happen to fall into the "just clear" category. How do I make mine so clear you can almost fall into them?

4-gens have plastic headlight lenses correct? 3-gens have glass. But anyhoo.. 3m makes plastic polish that SHOULD make the plastic really clear. I polished up part of my rear tail light lenses and it worked well. But a warning, try this product in a small area FIRST so make sure it helps and doesn't make it cloudy/worse etc..

aftermarket? By aftermarket do you mean like generic compared to oem, or are they different/improved? Where'd you get them?

generic is the only word i can think of...
like if you smash up your car most likely they will put aftermarkets ones in (not oem-nissan)to fix it.
theres a company that makes them that almost everyshop uses.. they are really clear looking.. slightly different from nissans up close.

I know what you mean by super clear. The New Jetta's almost look like there is no glass there at all. I wish I had that look. Although my 97's aren't that bad.
