I'll make this short and sweet -- i'm buying one or both grilles (upper and lower) this Friday, but have some questions:
1. I've seen it installed both with the grille cut out and not cut out, it's a matter of taste but does it make the install harder either way? I don't have a problem cutting the old grille out if that's the only extra step...
2. Fitment issues? Any? Upper or lower? Is the lower really worth $100? If not is there another cheaper lower grille that matches the upper?
3. Quality! Rust? Discoloring?
4. PICS! Links or direct posts, please.
Any other comments/suggestions about these grilles are welcomed, too...
Thanks in advance to everyone who responds with good information, it's appreciated

I bought an installed the lower grill. Bought it for only $60 new!!! Fittment is good, quality very good. Isn't supost to rust or discolor.....
I'm happy w/it...no pics yet though..
I think you have to cut your stock upper grill to intall that part and I wasn't ready to do that
das

I am in NYC, and I have had the lower valence on since Winter 2002. I have experienced some rusting recently. I would recommend spraying a few layers of clear coat on the pieces before installing them, just to be on the safe side. Good Luck!
