is it normal? does anyone elses cai whistle while accelerating moderately?

Thats normal, I dunno what it is but it's nothing that you should get worried about.

yep its normal, my old one use to do it all the time late. hey i30 cefiro. that ride is pimmmmmmmmp.

It's normal. I thought that maybe my filter wasn't on tight enough, but others here all have the same whistling, so I'm not worried.

mine sounds like a Turbo

then when you get on it .. it sounds like a v8

so ppl think i have a Turbo mustang motor

can you hear the whistling from inside the car? also do any of you guys find this whistling to be annoying?

Not really its not a loud whistle. I driven people in the car and know ones never said anything. Other that my wife and my bother no one knows it there.

My CAI only whistles at certain RPMs. If I'm gasing it a little more or less then I don't hear it. If I have the windows up and the radio on, I can't hear it.

do the cai and the stillen intakes sound similar? cause everyone seems to like how the stillen intake makes a deep growling sound.

aren't intakes supposed to make a hissing sound do to the suction of air. my cousins friends civic makes a nice growl from the intake it sounds sweet.
