Had shimmy at 55 - 65 3 visits and it's fixed

Just bought an new Maxima 3.5 SE and it had a shimmy problem at anything after 40 mph. Took it in to Bankston Nissan in Lewisville. and they had to balance the front wheels. After driving around for about a week, in now has a shimmy at 55 - 65 mph. Took back and they said they had to rebalance the front wheels. 2 more days of tesing it still had a shimmy and took it back this time the replaced the 2 front tires. Right now there is no more shimmy and it is smooth driving so far

Sounds like bad tires were the culprit. I've got over 10,000 on mine and I've never had had a single shimmy, so I feel sure yours is now fixed.

What tire pressure do you run? I keep mine at 30psi cold all the way around, and I think that gives me the best combination of ride and handling.

TIRE PSI all around is at 34 that is what the dealership had them at. So far the ride is ok for me. Should I take them down?

38 psi up front, 36psi back. More pressure, better grip. Cooler
running. More pressure up front, as that is where all the weight is
from the engine. 30 psi is way to soft. Bad gas mileage and the
tire runs hotter when that soft.
