at and powersteering fluids
my car has 80k miles on it. i took it to the dealer today to have it looked it (inspection). they said my brakes needed work done, fuel injectors needed to be cleaned, AT and powersteering fluid needs to be flushed and replaced and my drive belts are nearly worn out. total cost came to $800. i only had the brakes and belts fixed ($300). how serious are the fluids? can i get that fixed at autozone? Thanks

You can drain the tranny fluid and fill through the drain plug and refil. If you want to go one more, drop the pan and clean (instal a new gasket) and fill.
For the PS use a turkey baster and drain the PS jug and refil with fresh fluid. I do this on a regular basis.
This can same you $$ over the years, good luck.
