Drive Belts. Covered under warranty?

I went to the dealer today for my 26250 service, a leaky sunroof, hesitation TSB and I mentioned to him that my rear window is making a lot of wind noise.

I have the receipt and it looked like they did everything but can anyone tlel me what this is?

They also adjusted my idle

Anyone have any knowledge about these terms?

My car has also been making a noise that I can only hear from the right wheel well, I was there with the tech and he told me it's the drive belts, are those covered under warranty?

Anytime I have service done to my car, I go over with the service tech everything on the receipt I don't understand. Maybe you should call them and ask, prolly be best thing to do.

I got there at 6, he wasn't there anymore, he had told me on the phone that they did everything I asked except that I have to go back for the sunroof leak since they'll need a whole day to work just on that.

looks like they performed the tsb for the crankshaft sensor and replaced the runner in the window to get rid of the noise. they may have adjusted the idle if it was out of specs. i just cannot get over the fact that the dealer has a 26250 service. i hope you did not pay for the sensor or the spacers for the window. by the way, i think drive belts would be wear and tear unless they had greatly accelerated wear by means of a bad tensioner or pulley.

I paid nothing. The car has 26250 or so, could the drive belts be worn already?

anything is possible, but i would ask to see the wear in the belts. if its the belt only, then it should be cracked/torn. if it just noise then ask them if they checked the deflection so they can make sure it does just not need to be tightened up.
