painting emblem?

I'm going to put the MAXIMA emblem back onto the trunk and probably put back the hamburger on the grill(have a custom emblem there now). I'm thinking of painting both emblem red. What do you guys think? How do you think it would look? Or should I just leave it like it is(chrome)? I have a '96 with full front and rear(minus bumper)97-99 conversion with red/clear tails. Btw, my car is black. I have no spoiler on it now, although I might add one on later on.

Leave it as is... Unless you paint it black, like the newer Lexus cars.
