thank god those didnt make it to the states... if it did we would have people on the board asking if the 3.5L vq could fit in their wagon. . LOL on the real tho, that is one fat ugly bastard. i seen the older maxima wagons that are in the US and they look alright similar to the camry and accord wagons of the similar year. i do wish that other nissan wagon would be in the states the one with they twin turbo skyline engine.(forgot the name) but that would be a bad *** sleeper if no one has heard of it.

They're not THAT bad in person, those pics certainly don't do them a good deal of justice lol. Looking at them head on, the average person wouldn't be able to see the difference between the Wagon and the Sedan. They're not overly common here in NZ, but they usually sell pretty quick when they're up for sale.

With a bit of effort, you could probably substitute the 2L engine for the VQ30DE, fitment shouldn't be a problem anyway, as they appear to have the same size engine bays as the Maxima
