intake temp on auto AC always reads 131 F!!

When doing the diagnostics on my automatic climate control, the temperature for the air intake (the last of the three values) always reads 131F, regardless of outside temperature. Does anyone know why this might be? When I disconnect the sensor the display reads -22F, which is the correct value for an open circuit. Anyone seen this before?

Thanks

I thought about that too, but an open circult should read -24 and a short should read somewhere in the 200 F range. I should take a multitester to it... only problem is taking the glove box off again. Oh well, its kind of theraputic in a way.
