hi everyone,

well my airbag light was blinking 2 months ago.. i check the code and my ctrl module was gone and i reset it. Now its back again.. i dont care about airbags anyway.. so could someone plz help me in taking out that red bulb so that i don see this airbag annoying light anymore..

i know its not good but i still wanna do it

if you're really going to be stupid enough to not worry about your airbags and what could be wrong with them..

Drop your steering column
Take the two screws out of the guage cluster trim
three screws out of the guage cluster
take out the offending bulb

really pretty self explanatory

 

man 1200 for a stupid back seat airbag is too much for me man.. i've been driving my 93 nissan without airbag and i feel more secure like that.. too scared of having a airbag deploy on ur face in middle of highway lol

I removed the driverside airbag cause I got a new steeringwheel. the bulb in the gauge cluster would not pull off so i just broke it off. I have had an airbag bust in my face before in my old car and it busted my nose. If i didn't have the airbag i would have been fine. i don't like airbags

 

phew atleast there is someone who share same opinion as mine..

euromax can u tell me which one is teh airbag bulb i cant figure it out

you gotta follow the lines leading off the bulb contacts.. eventually they all say something (l. blinker, r. blinker, etc etc etc)... i would assume there is one in there that says airbag or something like it.. could be wrong though

well since you guys don't like airbags...how about you sell me one...I'm looking for a 97-99 airbag..black preferred...figure you can make some cash...I can get an airbag...
