Flywheel/Clutch ?

My clutch needs to be replaced and I want to get an affordable aftermarket one.. what brands do you like or have good experiece with?

I am also seriously considering a lightened flywheel.. who has this mod.. would you recommend it for a daily driver? Thanks for your input.

If you dont plan on going with boost anytime soon, then just stick with an OEM replacement clutch like an Exedy clutch and plate. Lightened flywheel will be nice for an NA car as well. Have it on my car, but its boosted. But you will still love the feel of it reving up quicker.

Flywheel is going to run you about $325 clutch probably $200.

Ive seen some flywheels for as cheap as $450, but where do you find them for $325?

Fidanza flywheels only run around $330 or so. There has been Group Deals running for them all the time. It always seems like they out of stock however.

Fidanza is one of the best flywheels out there. Check GD section often. I got mine for $300 something.

Fidanza here with a ACT clutch, super nice addition to the car, reves up nicely. What unorthodox sells ya is just the flywheel, no ring gear for starter or nothing- so after U take the stuff off the OE flywheel and install it, it weights bout the same as a Fidanza. Make sure to reinstall the crank sensor ring gear on the flywheel when installing any new flywheel on- Failure to do so requires removal of the tranny to get rid of the check engine light.

Thanks.. I was wondering why unorthodox was so much lighter.. good tip about the sensor ring too.
