Was going home when I decided to start some trouble. I merged onto the high way and saw a set of lights closing quick. He was still a ways away so I change into his lane and proceed at my 65 cruising speed.. =) The lights catch up to me and come up my butt. And tries to push me out of the lane. I keep my 65 cruise.. At this time I have a nice grin on my face. I really can't tell what it was but I could tell by the lights that its nothing I can't beat. =) He pulls up to my right and hangs there for a sec. Then he guns it in annoyance.. Hehe.. He passes me.. its a red stratus. Fun time.. =) I downshift to 3rd and floor it. The roar of the intake, the hiss of the y-pipe.. What fun.. =) By 100 I was about 3 cars ahead of him.. =) This was after his head start.. =) Hehe. I slow down and wait for him again.. This time he passes on my left.. But I don't let him get as far this time.. I get on his a$$. He is trying to run.. Its not happening.. The stratus really had nothing after 80 or so. If I had kept it floored I would have rearended him. To punctuate my dominance.. I pull to his right and pass him at WOT.. =) Then flash the hazzards while I'm about 4 cars ahead of him. I exited early to see if he would follow me.. Because at the end of the exit was a nice light for some stoplight action.. But he didn't follow.. That was my fun for the night.. Not a monumental kill.. But fun non the less.. =)

Poor Dodge. I'll have to let my wife know her car can't take a Max after all....

Could you tell if it was the 4-banger or 6? The 6 has a wide muffler tip, but it's still only a 2.5L with about 165 hp.....

Mean picken' on that poor car....

 

I hope that Stratus had some mods to it, or else this was a race not even worth racing. I rented one of those to drive to Las Vegas in, and it had the worst acceleration of any car I have ever driven. . . Keep in mind that all cars I have owned have been V6's. I really think that car needs a bigger engine for it's size.

 

I think he had a little exhaust tip. It may have been the 4 banger.. Hehe.. I really would have left him alone had he left me alone.. But he fell into my trap.. He had 2 other very open lanes to choose from.. And its not like I cut him off.. He had to come up my *** and try to push me off.. =) Hehe. What business do ya have with a stratus trying to push a maxima outta a lane?.. Especially if you're a 4 banger.. hehe.. That would explain why that thing just stopped pulling after 80.. Hehe.. Man.. now that you pointed out it could have been a 4 banger.. I feel like a big bully.. geee.. thanks guys.. =( =P

It really sounds like you started it...him "falling" into your trap. Hmmmm....and you cut lanes to basically blick him. Makes me wonder...what if you were that Stratus driver, how would you think?

 

Well I kinda just merged into his lane. Slowly. He must have been a 1/4 mile away when I went into his lane. True I was looking for trouble. But like I said.. I didn't cut him off.. I merged slowly into his lane.. he had 2 other very open lanes to choose from. Hehe. If he knew what was good for him he would have picked another lane.. He really had enough time to. He may have been 1/2 a mile away even. He had lots of time to choose. He was the only lights ont the road behind me.. And I was the only car in front of him in that stretch. It really was a case of.. If you want some.. come get some.. We wanted some.. I gave him some.. Hehe.. You have to understand I was bored out of my mind.. =)
