Is it the pipe rattling or is the pipe hitting the subframe?

If the pipe is making the noise, send it back for a warranty replacement. If it's hitting the subframe, adjust it or cut a notch in the subframe so the pipe clears it.

All I know is the flex section is rattling and when i stick a hammer handle on the pipe in front of the flex section it stops.. someone told me that when i isntalled it i might have turned it the wrong angle.... so I need to undo it and turn it the right way.. does that make any since?

I just installed my Wsp y-pipe yesterday. I was also hearing some rattles but I think it went away. I think it might be coming from the bracket that connects to the hangers at the cat. There was a thread about someone welding the loose flange on the y-pipe where it connects to the cat and stopped his rattling problem. If anyone can find that thread that would be great...i searched but couldnt find it.

this is what u need to do. mine was rattling, i called warpspeed and they told me exactly what to do, u can call them too.

there is a bracket around the cat' convertor that causes the rattling, u need to take this off but if u do, the cat convertor is gonna fall down. go to a muffler shop and ask them to take it off and bolt something else there instead of the bracket. i did this and my rattling disapeared RIGHT AWAY !

you dont need no stock brackets. just take off the one around the cat convertor and have a muffler shop bolt some hangers there

Mine hits the subframe when I do a strong take off and peel. I think it is caused from the wheel hop on my crappy tires, but I can feel the pipe hitting the subframe. I think it is just because the hanger is too loose. It is not that big of a deal though. I might take care of it later.

I can understand the frustration though, mine doesn't do it all the time.
