well...my tan seatbelt on the front passenger and driver side is getting dirty....
how do I clean them?
or should I just get a seatbelt pad

No, that would look You should get a pink one with rainbow pyramids on it.

 

at least get black ones.

but to clean them get a steamer. they are usually 20-40 bucks for a "as seen on tv" one. they are also great for wheels and tires.

also try taking a shower to prevent this from happening again

its actually not good to clean seat belts....but i did antway....take them out and just a a good detergent.....ans the reason ur not supposed to clean them is because they supposedly dry rot and wont hold up in a crash....i dunno they told me that in my younger days when i was detailing cars.....i think its BS

 

that is not BS, washing seta belts will weaken the integrity of the fabrics and as a result they might not hold up during a crash...

It might not be a good idea but I've tried cleaning my seatbelts (TAN) with numerous cleaning detergents. Nothing really worked well.
When I was getting my car detailed, the dude that did it told me the only really way with GREAT results would be to take them completely out & put them in a washing machine.
I did that & they look like brand new.

It does not appear visually that anything has happened to the seatbelts. I ran the washing machine on a "hand wash" mode which is supposed to be really delicate.

Do this at your own risk if you think it might weaken the seatbelts, but after doing what I did, they'll look brand new.

How difficult is it to remove the seat belts? My front seat belts are dirty as hell and i'd like to take them out and throw them in the wash.
