I took night pictures. Check them out, NOW I SAY! NOW!

I lost my password for a month now so I could only read posts but today I used the password emailer and I got a new password. Here are some pics that I took with my friends Z.

I only know a few maxima people in the LA area. Mostly 4th gens. I would like to meet up with some 3rd gens and take some pictures. I live in Santa Monica.

Very good ones! I am a shutter bug myself and love the extended exposure, night-time shots.

BTW, is that Laurel Canyon Drive? Been to LA only once and loved that road! (the drive, that is...the road is a piece of crap with all those potholes).

Sorry but all I can think about in the last two shots are "inspiration point". Some kinda love child from a 300zx and Maxima.

Those are some great night shots though.
Is that from a digital camera?

Put your hazards on, time them, then take the picture! lol It's actually not all that hard.

Ah you are right, except you don't have to time them at all, considering that he obviously used a high exposure time to let in all that light.

I'm guessing the line in the sky was a plane passing by?

Sorry I have not replyed yet, I have been busy with my new ebay CAI. It works so nice, I will post about that later on, After I take some pics. No I do not have HID's I wish I had HID's I have syilvalinas and so does the Z. The place is off of topanga canyon it is called saddle peak road. In my opinion it is the most fun canyon road in LA because it has many high speed corners a couple of hair pins and it has 2 very fun suicide turns (ones that you dont know when they are going to end). And yes these are from a digital camera. and yes the streak of light was an airplane passing by, most of these shots were 15 second exposures.

Oh yeah and I did not have my blinkers on. My lights are wired that way. so my turn signal is still the bottom portion but just brighter. but when I brake only the top portion get brighter.

Cool, do you have a writeup on how to do that?

Yeah that’s where I got the idea from. There is so much darn soldering involved and the problem is every time a particular bulb burns out I have to unsolder it and resolder it so it gets annoying, even thought it only happened once.

But the one on Craig's site is not a rewire, but rather just switching around bulbs and the result is only having half of a brake light. Unless he wrote something new?
