Remote starter

my friend made a good attempt at installing a bulldog remote start for my car, he said my car was unlike any of the other 4 he has done. He got it to the point where it starts but shuts off after about 5 seconds. When i hit the button it turns on and the sound it makes is one as if you were to hold the key turning the ignition on and it dies, what do you think could be wrong? if i cant figure it out i am going to take it to best buy to have them look at it. But that costs $$$. help plz

i would check all of the connections between the wires on the remote starter and the car...and check to make sure the remote starter is connected to the right wires on the car...i installed one on my max this past summer...it took a while to locate all of the right wires but it worked fine after researching and taking my time on the install

also im not sure if best buy will help you with it...i know circuit city wouldnt install mine because it wasnt bought from their store...but you could still give them a call..its worth a shot
