RE: fog light rewire

I got the instructions on how to rewire my fogs, but the only thing that is missing was which light to tap into at the headlamp. Does anyone know? Is it the clearance light or the blinker light? It would be for an 02 max. Thanks!

Here's the one I used for my wiring:

An excellent writeup IMO.

It might be a good answer. It might also render you foglight switch inoperable(if that matters)
I emailed him to check and will let you guys know

It does not affect fog light switch on the stalk. You can still turn fogs off/on and they do go off with high beams on(as they should) . I used housecors write up.

Nope. Foglight switch still works just as before. Only difference is you can turn the fogs on without the headlights.

And yes, this is easier than the other technique. No need to run a wire to the headlight.

Oh, and I just responded to your email with the same answer.

Thanks for the help!! Since we are on the topic of lights, Just 2 days ago one of the headlight housings started collecting moisture inside it......alot of moisture! I was hoping it would dry up after a few days but it hasn't, and ofcourse I just went over on miles for factory to take care of it. Anyone have any How To's to get rid of the moisture?

You could try baking it in the oven at 250 degrees for 10 or 15 mins. Open up the headlight and place back in the oven for a few mins until the moisture is gone.

Check out the DDE Lightning install how-to on my site to see how to heat the lights in the oven. This will soften the seal. Then, use channel locks all the way around the light to make sure the plastic lens is sealed tight to the black housing.
