Ok, I checked all of the fuses remotely related to the sound system, and the dash and all that... the lights on it work, it just wont turn on... It worked perfect last night, my friends turned it up kinda loud a few days ago, but not like it hadnt been that loud before by accident, and I turned it right back down... and it worked.... my dad moved my car this morning and said it was on pretty loud( anything is gonna be loud to him), and he turned the volume down, then pushed the power button....WTF is wrong?????? haha

 

did u check the one under the hood? there is an audio fuse in their, and if u pull it and put it back in, it should reset the stereo, i had this problem once before, this fixed it

 

also its possible the amp's have blown out, i wouldnt rule that out

 

Look in the 4th gen how to's for a link to fix the bose.

 

I heard there was also an incar relay for the bose, that sends a signal to start the amplifiers. It is in one of the kick panels, maybe on the pass side. So check that out. Unfortunately, I think you may be describing one of the failure modes of the Bose HU, and that it is a board inside the HU that needs to be fixed.
