What Year Stock Bose Head Unit's Fit 1997

My stock Bose head unit is having some issues. What model year Bose head units fit (plug -N- play) in a 1997 SE. I assume 97-99 work but what about years prior and later? Is there any differences between the 97-99 units?
Thanks-

Jeff Bjerke

All of the Bose HU's from the 4th gen Maximas will fit. I have one from a 2000 Pathfinder in my 95 Max, and it works great, so maybe any of the double-din bose units will fit..

Yea any of the double dins should fit, pathfinders, qx4, i30, maxima, g20, j30 and q45.

Personally I would just swap the muda for something else cause sooner or later the issue is going to come back.

That's what I'm debating. I like the way the factory deck blends in with the rest of the interior and mounts flush with the dash. I've had several listers offer theirs for sale, but that gives me no guarantee that I won't have this problem again next month. I wish Bose hadn't built these units so cheaply. Maybe I should check out the aftermarket systems for sale on the "audio board" as well.

Has anyone installed a 2000-2003 Bose deck? At least these wouldn't be 5-10 years old.
