AC Compressor?

Is the AC compressor the same between 1995-2000 maximas? I currently have a 1995 and visually they look identical. But according to the dealer, they have different part numbers for each model year. Fitment or funcatinality may be an issue?

I want to use a compressor from a 1999 or 2000 since it's a more recent unit. If any of you did a compressor swap I would like to know if it will work.

Thanks.

Not sure about the 2000, but I believe 1995-1999 all use the Calsonic CWV618 unit. If you're looking for a junkyard one you could probably verify your compressor's model number with its replacement.

Yeah.. I also thought the 1995-1999 compressors are all the same, but there part numbers are different, according to the dealers... I will verify the Model Number to see if the match is identical... Thanks.
