Yea, i have the bose system...so it will have to go in between the sub and the glass..
I just called an Infiniti dealer and almost choked.
They want $1042.65 for Shade Assembly !
Part number 97580-5y700
I think they are smoking something there....
I know there are couple aftermarket options for about $150 or so. .... I am going to some junkyards to see if they have any..I35-30's

I talk to the guy at paradox and he told me that it wont fit into the back of the maxima, the cars look alike but not the same on the rear deck.

I've got a manual version of that in my Max. Only cost about $40.00. PM for details.

rear decklid is diff on a Maxima vs a I35/I30. I tried swapping one into my Max. Bose sub grill is much smaller, the shade is power with the power button being in the center console. I30/I35s have a totally diff center console vs our Maximas. Their parking brake is a pedal style vs our handle type. I like my handle type better, can drift the car good in the snow :P Ricer flames aside... ya all tried it at one point or another

I think this is very possible. just because the decklid is different, doesn't mean you can't do it. if the actual opening of the sunshade wont fit, then there goes this idea. if not, well a little cutting of the decklid wont hurt. wiring wont be a problem either. it is just a matter of running the wire, and hooking it up to a factory switch. I am interested in this since I dont have the bose subwoofer.

even with tinted windows, its just one of those cool options to have.

There's something very soccer mom about having a "sunshade" on any window. Would it still be cool if it was attached with suction cups?

Get a light tint on the windows if it's too hot in the car. You'll save about $800 over the sunshade option.
