Boost sensor on the air intake scoop

Since i've installed the berk intake, the stock air inlet scoop and the sensors attached to it are pretty useless, but I want to put them back in business. I am thinking about taking out the air temp sensor and attaching it somewhere next to the cone filter, but what do i do about the boost sensor? And what is it for anyway?

I would just leave the sensors where they are. The temp sensor will be reading the underhood temp since the end of the scoop(facing the engine) is now open.

Not sure what that boost sensor is for.

When I installed by Berk I just left the front scoop in place and didn't move either sensor.
