Peeps who want Dynomax mufflers. ATTN Mecca

Git It!!!

I sat at the exhaust shop this morning for about 3hrs while they installed my WSP Ypipe, Magnaflow Cat, Super Turbo Dynomax muffler (2.5" #17748), and made a resonated bpipe from the cat to muffler that was 2.5" as well. What can I say but WOW!!!

I'm about 200% pleased with the outcome. I got all paid up and went out to start my car. I put in the key and started it and *gasp* it sounded soooo nice. Low grumble/hum to it. Not loud enough to be annoying at all. The sound cuts out after about 3k rpm. My intake is already much louder and overtakes the muffler before it even gets to 3k. Kinda reminds me off a M3, just a little louder.

Here is a clip from the dynomax sound clip website that I think is the closest to what the maxi sounds like:Super Turbo Muffler Clip

Granted that clip is for a 1999 Pontiac Firebird V8, but its almost identical to what mine sounds like. However, the small fluttering sound at the end of the clip is not at all present with me. I'm not sure what that would be coming from on their clip. I wish I had something to record a clip for u guys. Anyone in the richmond area with a video camera or something?

Tonight, I finally got a chance to open her up when I left out of the school parking lot. I floored it and it felt soooooo good! I could definitely feel the increase in .... well everything!

Now the next thing on the list is getting lowered!
Oh yeah, and should I reset my ECU after getting all this exhaust work done? I wouldn't think you would have to unless you were putting in new O2 sensors or something, which i didn't get done.

Lata,
drew

***MECCANOBLE, did this help you man? sorry for no sound clips...

You should have someone drive your car while your outside listening. What you hear inside the car maybe different from what people outside the car hears. Any raspiness at all? I was thinking of either going with dynomax or magnaflow.
