Ok - call me a nut (I've been called worse) but couldn't there be a relatively easy way to make a cold air intake? Taking BrianV's homemade intake and just build some sort of pipe to make it cold air... I have heard that PVC wouldn't be a good choice due to the heat in the engine bay... How about some stiff rubber tubing kinda like whats on a radiator?
