is there a problem with coupling gr-2 struts with oem springs?

 

uhh no... they are oem replacement struts

 

They will work PERFECTLY with OEM springs.

 

Nope - thats what I have... btw, I thought tokico blues were most like OEM replacements...(or maybe its GR-2s for the SEs and Tokico Blues fro the GXE/GLEs?)

Btw, it will give you a MUCH better ride on your GLE (as compared to the factory suspension)... its a drastic (better) improvement...

 

Per Chuck at KYB the Gr-2 is 15% stiffer then stock.

I can say this is true....had Tokico Blues in the in my 95, replaced them with the Gr-2 and wow....can you say more controled ride.

 

Nope, they are a great replacement..

 

i'm using agx with stock springs until a buy a new 18"s then i drop mine
