ram air scoop

ram air scoop

why does the ram air scoop need to be removed when a new intake is instralled?

It doesn't have to be. People just remove it cause it serves no point with the stock box removed.

you only have to remove the top of the air box to make room for the filter unless you have a stillen intake you have to remove the whole box to fir the filter
