Progress RSB Owners Please Read!!! INSTALL HELP!!!
I installed the Progress RSB with my friend and ran into three issues, none of which I think should matter but I was just checking...
1.) The "saddle" they give that is mounted over the trailing arm to the bushing bracket wasn't the right size to allow the screws to pass through to the other side of the bushing bracket to tighten as shown in the diagrams...we simply flipped around the saddle and had plenty of thread to screw onto and it mounted flush on the trailing arm as shown...so the saddle which has a cut out in middle that is shown facing towards the car and mounted on the trailing arm is facing the other way ...out facing away from the car the way we did it to allow the screws to be put on
2.) We unscrewed the E brake cable from the side of the trailing arm to allow access for the saddle to fit across the trailing arm and once it was put on, there was no way that the Ebrake cable could be bent into the trailing arm to reattach the screw...I checked and it doesn't hang down at all so no zip ties were needed and we just left it and actually found out that the cut out in the saddle bracket we placed the opposite way the instructions showed actually made a nice little housing for where the ebrake originally screwed in for securement purposes
3.) The U shaped brackets that attach over the axle that are supposed to be as wide as possible i believe are as wide as they can be bc i could move them over another few inches but there is an increase in the size and you can tell where it starts to turn to rust that the diameter increases and I thought that I wouldn't want to mount the U bracket over that part so i believe i did it right.
You think these three things are ok??? It seems to work awesome and it's all flush.

Yah I did i already figured it out..thanks tho...i have to remove the ABS Bracket, then put on EBrake again, then pry it out and put in saddle then reattach ABS after with ziptie if it sags too much...
I have one more question tho...are the U brackets wide enough or are they like that on your car bc i'm scared to move them any wider on top of that part that looks like its welded (look at pic on my site to see what i mean ..very last pic at bottom)

I intstalled the u-bolts as wide as possible, to where it sits on top of that welded part...I had it on for almost a month and no problems...
really? I left mine just inside the welded part... Very interested to know which is the correct was now. Anywas Kruppa i put mine one about a week ago. The brackets near the ebrake on the outside are supposed to be facing in. The lock onto the bar there. Good luck. Sorry i have no pics
I called progress about the u brackets "as wide as possible" issue and they were aware of the welded part near the end of the axle and he said that there is no performance difference at all between putting it at the edge of that or over it as far as it will go so just leave it wherever you have it. did anybody have a problem with prying the ebrake cable out while it was still mounted to the trailing arm bc i'm havin a hard time convincing myself it is ok to PRY at my ebrake cable...also how do you take off the metal piece around the abs line...thanks
