Will illuminas make my eibachs more bearable

I have OEM shocks and eibachs on my car for about 30000 miles and i want to get new shocks or something. I am tired of being bounced abround all the time. My car has a lot of suspension stuff done to it (springs, FSTB, RSB, LTB) now and want it to ride nice again. should i go for illuminas or should i bear it a little more and save for the D2racing coilovers. I am not against getting something like maxspeed to help with the ride but H&R's are to expensive and i might as well save an extra hundre dollars and get the coilovers (H&R + Illuminas = 430 + 215 = 645. coilovers can cost around 750. I would love coilovers for 600 but we all know thats a fairy tale.

i have eibachs and illuminas, i always have them set on the stiffest setting and ride is very nice. The car does not bounce at all, the ride is firm and solid.

You always want to go with a shock that is matched to the springs you have. The shocks you are using are matched to a lot softer spring. That means, it does not have the proper dampening for your springs. The result is bouncing around all of the time. Either way, you should probably get some illuminas or another brand that can dampen whichever springs you plan on using. The stock shocks will not be able to do this.

The Eibachs do a lot better with a stiffer shock. I had my Eibachs/Illuminas on the stiffest setting since I installed them, so one day I decided to try a softer setting. I went to the other extreme and put the illuminas on the softest setting, and NEVER will again! The car getts really slopy and is actually less comfortable on the softer setting.

Bottom line... Get some illuminas and set them to 5.

How many miles do you have on your car? Your strut bearings are probably fine.

The strut bearings are what you probably were refering to as the strut mounts. They are at the top of the strut assembly and are the part that actually contacts the chassis. At 70k I would probably go ahead and replace them. It will just save you some time (or if you arent doing the instal, money) down the road.
