I was changing my spark plugs, and when i took out the coil for the front middle one, there was a puddle of oil on top of the spark plug... do you know why this would happen, and if i clean it off is it going to keep building up? thanks.

Sounds like the seal around the valve cover/head matting surface is leaking. You can always check to see if the valve cover can be tightened up a little. If not and it is the front one, you can always change the gasket if it is alot. If it,s a little you can judge for yourself to see if it,s worth it or not.

There is a ring-shaped seal for each spark plug tube. You probably have a bad seal. Yes, the oil puddle will come back unless you replace the leaky seal.

There is a good photo of these seals in the Haynes repair manual, page 2B-4. To replace the bad seal you have to remove the valve cover. Lucky thing your bad seal is in the front bank, as the front bank valve cover is easier to remove than the rear one.

well when we were changing the back ones, the back middle one was also leaking oil so that means now that i have to have the seal changed on one in the front and one in the back.. could it get any worse? im assuming that these seals shouldnt cost too much, but with the luck im having i wouldnt be surprised if they were expensive as hell lol also do you know how much labor would go into changing those 2 seals? im gonna bring it to my mechanic next sunday.. thanks for the help everyone, i appreciate it

It will not get any better. The parts ahould not be to expensive. Labor costs I,m unsure of but I know the back one will cost quite a bit more than the front.
