92' Nissan 5spd Tranny Oil ??

Just bought a 92' Nissan Pickup Truck with the 2.4ltr engine with a 5spd tranny, same as the 240sx.

I was wondering if the Redline MT-90 that I use in my 5spd Maxima Trans will be ok to use on this tranny as well ?? I love the MT-90 and would order it again in a heartbeat if its safe

Matty,

I believe the Redline MT 90 or Amsoil S2K 75w-90 will work; both are GL4 rated gear oils. I have a 94 altima with the same engine and transmission that calls for GL4.

From the point of view that it's the same KA setup as a 240SX, yes, you should be fine with any GL4. And that includes Redline MT-90
