I have had a situation for a few months now where breaking causes a pulsation of the break pedal, but no shaking of the steering wheel. I have attributed this to warpage of the rear rotors, and have purchased replacements, though have not installed them yet. Today however I experienced a new problem. While breaking at high speed (approx 130KM/hr) I experienced significant vibration accompanied with shaking of the steering-wheel This was new. But get this, it did not happen every time! Sometimes I thought it was bad when I was in a turn, othertimes it just did not happen. Any thoughts?

Mebbe something is sticking or the pads aren't moving evenly. Have someone qualified look at it:
- sticking caliper guide pins
- sticking caliper piston
- damaged pad shims, hardware
- warped rotors

Ok here, if you know how to change your pads...you can do this yourself..

Check out your pads. Look for warpage in the rotors (front) and replace if you can see some.. if not, leave em on untill you KNOW they are warped. Untill then just do the rear rotors. While your at the front , re grease the guide pins (and clean them thouroghly with brake cleaner, clean the whole brake system off completely and reinstall.

Make sure that you dont oil them up too much as they will "hydrolock" and get stuck in one possition, wich i presume is your problem now.

(this is what i learned on) this is only for the fronts tho, and the rears are SLIGHTLY different, like instead of pushing the caliper in with a C-clamp, you have to screw it in, literally..wich is a BIOTCH, unless you have the tool..
