The one from Vbxmaxima is not working.

crap, i have a sinking feeling my cylinders 4 and 6 are misfiring.....I think I have had these codes before now that I am posting them. if so, anyone have the diagram for which cylinder is which?

0304 is knock sensor. 0306 i don't know but if you or someone else has access to search could search for it real quickly.

btw the misfire codes are 0603 through 0608 so it's not a misfire.

thanks nealoc. It was close though because I have replaced the coils before and the codes looked familiar. anyone can give me code for 0306 that has search?

ok, found out through google it is egr valve. where is this located and what does it look like???

egr valve is on the back of the intake manifold its what causes most of the mevi guys a problem getting to, it's not fun to work with. its held onto the back of the intake manifold by 2 bolts, 14mm if i recall, and is on the end of a tube that goes down to the exhaust manifold. egr stands for exhaust gas recirculation. it is probably encrusted with oily carbon gunk buildup.

thanks for all the help nealoc. would this valve being clogged up cause the idle to fluctuate and loss of power to the point of the car almost dying?

0304 is #4 cylinder misfire, 0306 is # 6 cylinder misfire

I am absolutely sure that 0304 is the KS, so no it is not a #4 cylinder misfire.
