eclipse speakers in front 4th gen door

okay, i'm having a hell of a hard time getting these door speakers mounted. I can only imagine what troubles the rear will give me now.

The speaker (SE8363) will NOT line up with the front door screw mounts. In fact, if i align the speaker dead center, i BARELY have plastic from the door mounts that line up with the speaker holes. It's like the mount holes on the speakers are not spread apart wide enough to lay over the plastic edge of the door speaker mount thing.

btw, according to this diagram i pulled off the net.. can someone confirm this:

blue w/ yellow stripe = negative
blue w/ white stripe = positive

that's for the left front door. Is this correct? if so, i'll assume the rest of the wires listd on it is also correct. thanks
