I have a 96 SE 5 speed in excellent cond with all the options except heated seats, I was thinking of getting a Y pipe and intake, which one should I get if I don't want to spend top of the line bucks!!!!??? My car is bone stock right now, had a K&N pop filter on it but sounded too much like a nascar when I go WOT, so I took it off.

 

budget y pipe & if you get a cold air intake you'll have to cut a 3" hole in your fender

 

is budget the actually the company or just a budget Y pipe in general? and will I still be able to pass Ca smog with it? and do all CAI's require cutting a hole in the fender?

Dont get a CAI if you hate the noise. CAI are the loudest intakes.
