How many hours to install headers or y pipe?

Looking to get headers or a y-pipe and wondering how long it would take to have them installed.

Headers a good 6-8 hrs, pretty seasoned mechanic. Y-pipe, 1-2 hours for the normal do it yourself-er. I got my 2nd y-pipe installed in about 1 hr, the first one I ahd a shop do it. . .

ypipe could take anywhere from 30min to days depending on the tools you have at your disposal and your experience.

y-pipe shouldn't take long at all unless the bolts are stuck on the cat because of the heat.

DO not get OBX headers! Really BAD fitment! it took me 2 weeks just to put the obx headers on because ok 1) They hit the motor mounts. i had to weld pieces off the motor mounts to fit it on. 2) The EGR tube i think thats what its called... Well that tube doesnt fit right. You have to bend that S H I T in the hole and trust me its a B I T C H. I myself and my dad put the headers on and the y-pipe. Y-Pipe is pretty simple shouldnt take longer than a hr, 45 min max. Headers... Depends OBX arent the greates ones they take long lol. I just got them because i got the headers and y-pipe for 325 bucks on EBAY i couldnt beat the price. Then again you buy something cheap you get something cheap. It still gives power but fitment pissed me off. This is for a 95 Max.

y-pipe is easy.
It should not even take you 2 hours, especially if you have some helping hands in there with you.
