This thing is driving me crazy!!!!!!

I'm trying to remove the two connectors from the back of the factory radio and I can't get them out for SH*T. Somebody please give me some advice on this one.

press down on the clickers and wiggle out the harness. its not hard to do.

I tried that for a hour yesterday. All the other connector came out easy except for those two and the one of the same type that was connect to the hazard light.

flat head screw driver to push those clickers down if you cant get your finger in.

Any other suggestions? I have never had this much difficulty removing a connector. Its driving me nuts.

i had the same problem, took me and my neighbor a good half an hour to get them out.. just be careful,, dont want to break them. i tried the screwdriver thing also and it didnt work.. its just gonna take a while to actually pull them off.

I got em out now but I stripped 3 of the 4 screws in the bracket.

lol same **** happened to me also. i only got 2 of the screws out, the rest had to be drilled out..

yeah, the 4 screws holding the radio in were a pain. Had to use a corded drill with loads of torque to get them out. eventually stripped two of them. good luck.

the things ppl do for their car lol, yes i have to admit those connectors were tricky lol

I got everything out. I took it to a hardware store and after about 45 minutes and some drilling and screw extractors we got it out. They didnt even charge me. I just had to buy the bits and the extractor. I still owe the guy some beer or something because he refused to give up.

Connectors are easy w/ a pair of needle nose pliars.

wiggle it, push IN, push the tab down, and wiggle it out.
