slid into a curb going about 20 mph and broke the right front axle and lower control arm...got an estimate for 1900.00 without the wheel...be careful taking corners or it may cost ya.

I too did that in the snow two winters ago. I think that's why my bearing went the begining of that next summer.

Maybe if you trim ALL that baby fat! Heh, I want a fitth gen sooo bad, but it sounds like corners are your guy's major problems.

At 4300lbs my 2k1 handles, but once you lose it, it stays lost. And my Blowtenza's dont help. I just recently made an evasive maneuver around some ******* who pulled out in front of me, i made it around him, but dug in when i went to pull it back under control. i spun out and slammed into some unlucky bastard in the turning lane. Moral of the story, just nail the moron that pulls out in front of you, or youll end up with an at fault accident , and an insurance hike to boot. Thankfully though i have enough money left outta my settlement check to buy new tires, recommendations? Looking to spend under 600$ on a set of 4.

What the heck do you have in that Max for it to be weighing that much, dont go off of Maximum allowable weight on the tag. The car only weighs about 3,200 or so and 3,300 something with you in it.

that would be the MAXIMUM weight assuming you had a trunkful of bricks, and 5 big fat people in the car.....the f/r is just the weight distro with maximum load....

The car curb weight is about 3200 lbs + the weight of you, others, cargo, etc...
