I gotta 5-speed.

I latch the hood open, put on the e-brake, put it in 1st, and release the clutch a minor bit, and the engine doesn't budge.

But when I put it in reverse, I can see the back side of the engine raises almost 2 inches!

Could it be a front motor mount?

 

looks like ur mounts are shot.. i sugg. to save up and replace the front and rear..

 

Damn... thats what happens in my car with my auto. I throw it in D, and its fine, but then I throw it in reverse, and it shakes the whole car.
