Stripped the Radiator drain screw

Hi, does anyone have any good ideas? I completely stripped the plastic radiator drain screw on my 95 Maxima. I am thinking of trying an ez-out, but am worried because it is plastic.

wow how did you do that? I think it is rubber too, if you have a junk yard around you should be able to go there and gank it off.

i stripped mine too.. but dont worry.. on the opposite side of the radiator is the main hose that leads to engine. make sure the car is cool. if you have a good grip then just unclamp it and let the coolant flow.. wimpier/smarter method is to some pliers. you'll never need teh drain plug again.. it drains faster this way too.

-i wouldnt try to force it out unless you have a replacement. the rubber is probably so beat by now if you try to plug i back in after forceably removing it, it will leak afterwards.
