I checked my transmission fluid and its has this light red brownish color, not pure red like it is when its new. Do i need to replace the filter with te fluid or just the fluid will be enough?

you can change the filter but you dont have too. i have 88K miles and havent changed it. i plan on doing it one of these days. you have to drop the pan to get to it and there are about 20 little bolts

if you drop the pan, just check the screen for damage. while it acts like a filter, you should not need to replace it unless you find tears. i just wiped mine down to remove any buildup on the mesh.

It is not a filter it is just a screen.... you don't need to replace it....just clean it with a good brake cleaner and re install it. See my sig for more info.....
