TPS at fault?

Sometimes, while I'm driving on the highway, my 92 SE will just stop accelerating. The only way I can get the car to accelerate again is to let off of the throttle for a second or two and then get back on the throttle. Switching gears works, too. Do I need a new TPS? If so, where is it?

Throttle position sensor is just on the other side of the throttle body. I thought that was my problem and put a new one on too. Didn't work. Read the thread of "our cutting out problems" and join the crowd. I personally think it is either coil packs or MAF. Your problem could be the TPS. I believe this problem has many different causes.
