Good buy on a 2001?

http://www.atlantauc.com/displaydetails.asp?carid=884

I'm thinking about trading in (or selling) my '99 to get this car... good deal or no? They want 14950 for a 2001 SE 5MT with 39K...from the pics it looks like it's in good shape... Haven't seen it in person since it is about 2 hours from me, but this is the dealership I bough my 99 from and they always have some good quality cars.

Sounds like a good deal to me, but that is dependent on what options it has (leather, Bose, heated seats, auto climate control, etc.) That's good low mileage though - will still have 23K on the factory warranty and I'd suggest drop another $1K on a 100,000 mile nissan gold extended warranty (I've already gotten my money's worth out of mine in 1 1/2 years).......

If you are looking to spend that kind of money, try looking at some 5.5 gens.

I'd rather the 02. Also, no leather for me on any car is a deal breaker. If I were to look at a manual, it would also be the 6 speed... but I'm not so Auto is how I go.

Its way too much for a 01. If you know what your doin when you talk to the dealer you can take it for 12000.

the 02 was sold yesterday, and they won't budge on the price on the 01.. so the search continues.

They won't budge since it is still early in the month. You want them to budge and still want that one, wait til the end of the month at about 5 pm. They will budge and give you some head too...

I think they'll budge. I sent them an email... Let's see if I can get them to agree on $13K.

what do you mean "with the 2001 rims?" The 2000 SE also had the 17's (except very early 2000 SE's).....
