Wheel wells and painting lip ???'s

2 unrelate ?'s

1) I have 225/55/17 tires and I get some rubbing on the wheel wells when I go over big bumps and when I'm backing up with the steering wheel turned all the way in one direction. Is there a How-To for preventing this?

2) I plan on getting the Maxx Tuning lip and some sides and rear. Can someone give me an estimate as to about how much it will cost to paint each of them?

BTW for Question 1, I have Tokico blues and H&R springs

Thanks for the help!!

With the stock 17's a 55 sidewall will be too tall plus you're lowered a bit, therefore causing the rubbing. Stock sidewall is 50.

I know that stock is 50, but I got 55 bc a friend was selling them. The ride quality is great and the rubbing isn't that big of a deal. I was just wondering if there was a howto for taking out the plastic in the wheel well to prevent rubbing.
Thanks
