well with any brand new brakes, you need to break them in, wait for a few hundrend miles (daily driving). they will be slightly louder in terms of noise because of the slots/holes, but it shouldnt be anything extremly noticable or loud. Mine are not loud and only hear a faint noise when all my windows are up, fan off, and radio off....but in the end they will be louder than OEM blanks.

I agree that you have to break them in. You think the noise is bad. When I first got mine the brakes took about 5 feet to stop at 30mph... that scared the $hit out of me. Just give it some time and break them in. I have brembos x-drilled with raybestos QS pads.

Any aftermarket rotor will be slightly noisier than OEM. I've had slotted as well as cross-drilled before with aftermarket pads and both were noisier than OEM. That's part of the trade off for having better performance.
The next setup I will do for brakes will be Brembo blanks and aftermarket pads for a quieter brake setup.
