Brembo X drilled/slotted breaking noises?
Brembo X drilled/slotted breaking noises?
Is it NOrmal, because of the design of the Slotted/ X drilled to make shaving/Swiff noises while breaking,Or Could it be my pads, ( i Have the AXXis metal Masters) and the whole system is brand new. Thanks? ANY INFO WILL HELP!
I Have the same setup on a 2kse with the same noise.. ive been asking on here for some time now and have yet to get a response.. any noise coming from the brakes/rotors is not normal.. yours coming from the front or rear?
well with any brand new brakes, you need to break them in, wait for a few hundrend miles (daily driving). they will be slightly louder in terms of noise because of the slots/holes, but it shouldnt be anything extremly noticable or loud. Mine are not loud and only hear a faint noise when all my windows are up, fan off, and radio off....but in the end they will be louder than OEM blanks.

Any aftermarket rotor will be slightly noisier than OEM. I've had slotted as well as cross-drilled before with aftermarket pads and both were noisier than OEM. That's part of the trade off for having better performance.
The next setup I will do for brakes will be Brembo blanks and aftermarket pads for a quieter brake setup.
