Belt Squeal....

Recently installed an UR underdrive pulley and new belts. now on startup and some times when moving from a standstill belts squeal. does this mean the belts are too loose or too tight?

My belts squealed to when I put my pulley on so I tightened the belts up and it was gone.

I think it means that they UDP is not on there properly. But it could be the belts are too loose.

no pulley is on properly i double checked everything. Torqued everything to spec, i was really cautious when it came to messing with the crank and timing so everything was done by the book.the pulley also spins straight and car idles and drives well.Gates K040292 was the power steering belt UR specified but this was too small so i had to purchase a larger belt Gates K040305 but this seemed to large when the tensioner was all the way in. I have found a Gates K040300 which i will have installed and tightened and i am hoping it will all be fixed.
