is a high flow cat worth it?

confused...

after taking a peek at the custommaxima website, ive noticed they're havin a sale. y-pipe and high flow cat which they dynoed @ plus 24 hp and 23 tq for $350. no intake, nothin, +24 hp. my question is.... does this huge gain have anything to do with the high flow cat? or is their y-pipe that awesome?

hit me back---lol
