how does one get to the bolts on the back side to take out the ecu? i bought a used jwt ecu from someone and i am having trouble removing the two bolts at the back holding the ecu in. there is hardly any clearance back there to get a screwdriver or ratchet back there. Is that the only way to take the ecu out? Or Is there an easier way to go about taking out the ecu to replace it? Thanks

 

There are two 8mm bolts in back. I used a small box/open end wrench

 

get a small box wrench behind there. you can get it turning and use your fingers to get the rest of it out...just a few spins. i did my ECU swap in the parking lot at work...so it shouldn't be that bad.

yes 4 8mm screws all around.
