I read the search results and saw punkdork's instructions on OSCAI (nice work).

According to this it just hangs? Do others attach to the splash guard? How is that done? Is metal better?
That silencer looks like a PITA to remove.

I cut a rectangular slit in the splash guard and stuck the tubing through it facing forward. It creates more of a ram-air effect that way. Other have left it inside the splash guard, but I have found it is most effective the way I have it. Metal tubing would be tough to use unless it is flexible. I used 2.5" shop-vac tubing.

Removing the silencer isn't necessary... unless you want that extra space to say... hide your beanie baby collection. Come to think of it... the silencer would make a great place to smuggle drugs into the country... maybe you should leave it on just in case!

Nah, there is a splash guard under the engine as well. A nice big piece of plastic under the engine.

I don't know about drugs, but I could've used it to smuggle some Cubans (cigars that is) back from Canada. Eh!

I've got em on my stock rims but they were rubbing the fenders so I had to get a body lift kit.
