Where did you get it? I ended up buying a pair of fog lights. Of course, now I have a spare.

Both of my fog lenses are cracked, but my philosophy is, they're gonna get cracked again, so don't waste the money on getting some new ones that will look the same after a month. Use the money to get a STS from HP Auto, because I got mine today and it's AWESOME.

The cracking of the 5.5 gen foglamps is a pretty well-known issue. Luckily I have not ran into it personally, but if I had to find a replacement, I'd check some salvage yards before I spent that much on a brand new one.

skierxx5556 - If you can prove that the kid broke it, why not get him or his parents to pay for it?

For those who want to protect their foglights, I bought a 3M based protection film from 2002 Maxima SE for about $23 including shipping. I plan on placing them on after I get new fogs. Hope this helps.

Mine craced a while back. I wonder if putting in Piaa Superplasmas had anything to do with it.

where can the 3M film be purchased from? I saw another org member with some but I cant remember where he said he purchased it from. I really only need a couple small sheets to protect my fog lenses. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bought the partstrain fog. No problems with fit or function yet. Went in like the stocker.

I hoped it would, but apparently it doesn't. I've had mine protected since purchase with invinca-shield 3M film and finally noticed a crack last week. The real question is whether the hot bulbs I'm running (PIAA SP H3's) are the culprit. In cold weather, the glass gets hot enough that I can see steam coming off the fogs...

Nonetheless, with the 3M film, no water is getting into the lens and the crack is barely visible so I'm not touching it.
